Perivi John Katjavivi is a Namibian-British filmmaker. He holds a BA in Cinema from Columbia College Hollywood and an MA in African Cinema from the University of Cape Town. He currently teaches film and media at the University of Namibia and is a PhD candidate in History at the University of the Western Cape in South Africa. His research is interested in how colonial sites of memory, related to the Herero genocide, influence everyday life in Namibia.
