Darya was born in Moscow. Graduated from VGIK (film studies department).
Director, author, and editor-in-chief of TV programs, and special projects (more than 300 TV programs and films) on TV channel KULTURA and other Russian TV channels.
She has been making original documentaries since 2010.
Laureate of Russian and foreign film festivals, participant in international forums and pitchings.
In 2018, she held a series of lectures and film screenings at Fordham American University, Smith College, UMass (Amherst), Mount Holyoke College (South Hadley), and spoke at ASEEES Slavic Forum (Boston).
Member of the Union of Cinematographers of the Russian Federation, and member of the Non-Fiction Film and TV Guild. General Director of the Magic Mountain studio, curator of the New DOK courses at the Moscow School of Art,
"Expedition.Doc" at the Russian Geographical Society, producer of author's and debut film projects.
